Instagr.am
Some of my recent work via Instagram — the app that replaces my need for a compact camera (I don’t own one). I’ll either go out with a purpose and take my 5D2, or use this to capture what catches my eye.
On 2010
2010 was a pretty good year. I learnt a lot, progressed a lot and really pushed myself to work as hard as I could. I look back over my work from the last twelve months and I’m pretty proud of it. I met (and worked with) some great people who are as passionate about what they do as I am — something that’s incredibly refreshing.
And so I’m looking forward to 2011 even more: to travelling, to more shoots & to meeting new people.
Ashley
Really happy with the results from this — Ashley was fantastic to work with, and I owe her a ton for making my life so easy! Great to direct, knew what I wanted and I managed to get the dark look I was aiming for.
Suze
A big thank-you to Suze for coming along to this shoot — the light really worked to our advantage!
Sonya
I think this is my pick from Sunday. Originally in color, but far better in black & white — just make sure you view it large.
Rehashed
So this might be a re-hash of some older work, but it certainly doesn’t suffer from sequel syndrome — at least in my humble opinion.
Abandoned
We spent maybe a good half-hour exploring this house. Abandoned and surrounded by overgrown grasses, it had one thing newer homes lack: character.
