Wonderful storytelling:
As I boarded the train in Boston that morning, I didn’t realize that I was about to glimpse an overlooked part of America. The secret hideouts of children and the homeless in the woods of Rhode Island, Baltimore’s decaying neighborhoods, and the industrial wastelands surrounding Philadelphia are sights hidden from everyone except local residents and Amtrak passengers.

I made the mistake of not trusting the sizing chart enough — and had to return my original pair (a size 47). I have fairly large feet and usually fit into a US12/13, but ended up swapping down to a size 45 in the Classic’s. They fit much more snugly, and don’t require anywhere near as much pressure on the heel-strap to secure them.
Planning on taking them for a proper walk/run first...

It says something about a new product when people go out of the way to buy the old version of it. This happened to me when I went shopping for an iPod Shuffle today — I needed something small, light and durable and it fit the bill. But the new model is voice-controlled only, and this means you need to use Apple’s included earbuds.
